waiting a bit... not that I'm sceptical or anything... but i'm about to format my HD tomorrow (hopefully) so i decided just to wait and upgrade then...
but i've heard good things only... even some saying there machine was faster afterwards.
Be careful if you have a powerbook, the mac consultant where I work updated his Titanium powerbook and it died.
I think I'm going to give it a week or so before I install it. I'm in the middle of doing a bunch of travelling as well as moving across the country in a few weeks, so I really don't have time to have a broke down PowerBook. I'll wait to see if they release any other updates to this release.

thanks for the warning. what model was that? let's hope it's not widespread issue.
my coworker just updated his 17" PB 1Ghz and it works fine.
did the 10.3.5 update, iPhoto update, latest security update AND iSync 1.5....drum roll please...all without a problem. I love apple's.
He has an 867 Ti. I have a 1.8 G5 and I think I'll hold off due to reports that it can make this model of G5 unable to sleep.
i have a single 1.8 G5, and it's ok. if i knew about such reports, i would've hold back as well. better be safe than sorry.

Maybe you got lucky, but this was enough for me to hold off.
Ooops! This looks serious. :( I'm afraid we'll have this update pulled and a new one coming out soon.
Zero problems here since installing the stand-alone 10.3.5 Combo Update on my lil May '03 model 1 GHz G4 eMac with 640 MB RAM (512 of it third-party genuine El-Cheapo brand <g>). I always turn off all haxies & startup items, use Cocktail to trash user, system & browser caches and old logs first, then repair permissions both before and after an OS update - I always use the stand-alone Combo installer, not the Software Update while-online deal - and I've never had a single problem, from 10.2.3 (my first X version) thru 10.3.5. [Pause to :::knock-on-oak::: here....... :) ]
I don't do faxes, and have no local network, so can't test this, but I wonder if some of the folks having problems are experiencing them due to some File Sharing (or other 'net-related) default settings being different than 10.3.4's? Or perhaps having "Receive faxes on this computer" active in the Print & Fax prefs pane causes port monitoring, which might prevent sleep? <--just my best shots in the dark.
