20 Identical Logo Designs – Copy or Coincidence?
logosdesign (9 points) | Thu, 2010-02-25 06:41The same nuisance is existent the logo design industry. You will witness hundreds of logo designs that either resemble other logos or are a downright copy. But I wonder the reason behind it…is it done intentionally or it’s a coincidence?

Some are obviously intentional, but it's easy to see how two people could create a similar logo by following the same established guidelines for trademark design. Especially something very simplistic like the NBC logo - I'm sure that was a coincidence because a client like that would never steal due to the subsequent lawsuit it would surely (and did) spawn.
