The fan on my daughter's Imac 20" keeps on going, on and on...
Any hints? What should I do?
Thanks

I've got a iMac G5 20" and the fan is doing fine, and Im always on it using photoshop and other hungry programs. You may want to phone apple or where ever your purchased the item from for technical support.
or you might want to check out the iMac support page on apples site

Unfortunately a few iMac owners had this problem. Others had a problem with a high frequency sound coming from the fans.
What is the room temperature in your room. My iMac fans kick in once it's above appr. 28C especially running some heavy apps. Are you running anything like Seti@Home or Folding@Home? They use the CPU 100%, which is not a good idea if your iMac overheats.
Also, make sure the bottom part of the iMac is free for airflow. That's where it sucks in cool air and blows out hot air.
If none of these help, call apple you may have a faulty termostat.
