2 things ... one I want, other I like...
Ok... it's been a while since I wrote a new topic here, so I'm gonna talk about two things on my mind.
First off, a Safari shortcut I discovered and love.
Thing is, usually when I start my day there are a few sites I like to open, but not always the same ones ... so when I have tabs activated and have written the URL in I simply hold command while pressing enter and the site opens in a new tab behind the one I'm looking at, leaving the one I have free to write the next URL in and so on.
You maybe all knew this, but hey... I love it! :)
Now to what I want.
I work a great deal on layout and design in all sorts of programs, and while doing that sometimes I need to change bits of a text block (i.e. to make certain words bold). Wouldnt it be great if I could highlight different parts of a sentance at the same time ... like every other word!
And wouldnt it be great if there was a way to do this and someone here is going to tell me how its done! ;)
Back to listening to Just a Gigalo by David Lee Roth.
AFAIK you can't highlight
AFAIK you can't highlight multiple different sections of text at the same time. I'd love to do this, too! I've tried but not found a way. I do know, however, that if you've using TextEdit in OS X (maybe other apps too, I don't know) you can hold down Option and select a vertical block of text, which is really neat.
multiple selection would be
multiple selection would be cool.
