Well here we go with more logos, i would appreciate if all of you give some advice, or choice, which is the best, and what should be changed if anything is needed....
Thanks a lot!

... obviously, but I think the first post you did was going pretty well, the eyes are quite a good element to use... but if you are sure you don't want them them the far right middle one down, maybe with the text as the 2nd one across on the top row, without the little man. That could work. What sort of advertising is your friend doing? Whey have you chosen trees for most of these designs? Maybe he is located in a forest or something, but if you can link the logo in some way to his business that would help i think.

I'm sorry to say, but your use of type treatment is not only amateur, but it just doesn't seem to blend with what you're trying to convey. I apologize for my bluntness, but I think you need to really rework the typeface and how you utilize it in the design.

For example, the third design on the top right, the letter "V" is just too tight next to the tree (which goes for the same with #5 & 6, as well).

I agree with what sidesey suggested—is your friend located in a tree infested area? I thought your initial first design with the three eyeballs was awesome, we just wanted to see it without the typeface and lettering. And possibly rework that. Are you limited to what typefaces you can use? Seriously, try something as simple as Helvetica or Ackzidenz Grotesk—those are excellent sans serif fonts and they always look nice and clean.

Good luck!

I think simplicity and something less complex is the key here. i did a quick design here from your bottom one's. I think you should push the idea further but this is just a suggestion...I like the man's figure too, maybe you can replace the letter "i" with it? Hope that helps....

Good luck!

I appreciate all your critiques. You`re very helpful and I respect you all for the advices.

My personal favorite was the one with the three eyes. I wanted to make the logo and put everything relevant in it.. the name of the company and the company slogan and make the business card vertical. However, I appreciated the advice for that one and reworked it.

But my friend insisted on something different, so I made the one with the tree because he insisted that his company is also environmentally friendly (even though it`s an advertising company) :-)

Currently I am reworking the tree designs because my friend insisted to have a tree in the logo. When I finish, I`ll show you.

wadhaqb.. thanks for your effort.. much appreciated

As I understand it, your assignment is to design a logo for a startup advertising company named "3 View" that wants to promote itself as being "environmentally friendly". Does that mean they want to focus their work primarily to attract clientele involved in environmental issues... isn't that a pretty tight niche? I know that architects design "green', or products are developed in eco-friendly ways and with recycled materials, but what is an eco-friendly advertising agency?

First, I would sit down with the client and have them do a very critical analysis of what they are really all about. I would also discuss with them if the name "3 View" isn't a bit awkward and a better name could be derived with the same meaning.

I suggest you take a step back and look at what you're really proposing as design solutions. As an example, let's look at #2: a simplistic lollipop tree, with 1/4 chunk taken out and a big "3" stuck into it. Also inserted into the missing chunk of tree is a leaning man striking a 'casual' pose of crossed legs and folded arms. The trunk of the tree precedes the word "View", as if there"s some kind of rebus-like puzzle to be figured out. Add into this mix the typeface choice of Hobo... I swear, you'll win some type of award for this one.

Seriously, find a concept. Define it visually. Make the visuals simple and iconic. (I'm sorry to diagree with the other's opinions but the three-eyball approach is too bizarre if this advertising agency actually plans to attact clients.) Whatever your client can explain to you about being an "eco-friendly advertising agency" is what you need to be able to express in simple and direct visual language. If it has to be an image of a tree, then avoid all of the other ambiguous and confusing things. But if the client can't explain what a tree or 'environmentally-friendly' has to do with an advertising agency, how do they expect you to?

I like the first one mostly. But you can probably simplify it further.

Looks best! Go with that! But if you can, work on it and simplify it a bit!
