4 PAGE CENTRE SPREAD
aussiegal (5 points) | Tue, 2005-12-20 23:31Hey everyone. I think this site is awesome by the way! Had some real handy tips here.
So here's a question. I am using auto page numbering and I would like to insert a 4 page centre spread, with no page numbers on it, but have the auto numbering continue on, skipping the 4 page spread.... I think that makes sense.
so. pages 1-16 - 17, 18, 19, 20 (no numbers) and pages 21 would actually be page 17 (for numbering purposes)
ANy tips on how to do this.
All comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Donna

In InDesign the function is under Layout menu call "Numbering and Section Option"
In QuarkXpress the function is under Page menu call "Section"
Both programs usage is the same. You navigate to the document page 21 and tell the program to restart the following pages from page 17 and on, thus "sectioning" your document into two sections.
It's pretty straight forward.
