A solid scanner for art and pencil drawings

I work at a design firm and they are looking for a new scanner for the office. Previously, they scanned off a Doc12 which allowed them to get 11x17 scans if needed. The new scanner needs to be able to handle a lot of pencil sketches as well as handling original paintings. Does anyone know if a scanner that can do this well?

Usually they are pretty good and they can handle workloads,
Im sure they can leed you with something....
Ill ask some friends in the meantime....
