no expert but i like 1 and 2 :)
Definitely no to 4 and 5.
Possibly 3.
could the lettering of 1 and 2 (which I think works) be combined with the shapes on the previous logo that I saw on the truck?
Or could you use the colors and lettering of logo 1 and 2 in logo 3?
I much prefer the shapes in number 3, but IMO the colors and typeface from 1 and 2 would make it friendlier.
"The more you tighten your grip, the more star systems will slip through your fingers." Princess Leia
Both 1 and 2 work really nicely - and could both be used depending on size constraints. The others don't feel friendly, but 3 is perhaps a little more traditionally corporate.
The real challenge I can forsee is using 1 or 2 in black and white (or reduced colour-set) reversed out or is a small web banner.
EDIT
----
Looking at 1 & 2 again, there may be negative connotations from the letter/symbols. The second could be percieved as water - which could mean 'actively managing your waste into the ocean'...
Really Like 1 & 2..... the others don't work for me, but I did really like the 1st idea, it was very friendly...but 1 & 2 on here convey the idea better... nice work!

Hi, Ivan. I didn't comment on your first logo, so I'm considering it now. I must say I like it better than any of these. In #1 and #2 above, icons for W and M look like little butts! (Alex was too much of a gentleman to come right out and say it, but I think that's what he was alluding to.) That would be fun for a waste treatment facility in a silly movie, for garbage haulers it's wrong kind of (ahem) waste. Of these five designs, I prefer #3 most. I'd like to see it with sharp, rather than rounded, letter forms for the AWM, and possibly with a little more space between the center strokes and the right-side strokes on the W and M (they otherwise might not read well at a distance). All of these are nice!

maybe I'm being over analytical... but 3, 4 and 5 are just remind me too much of this waste management logo:

Yes, too similar.
