I've heard that CS4 will be coming out...i'm not sure when though :)
Issues?? Will it have a more annoying serial number and activation procedure??

Basically, for the mac all the Adobe code has to be rewritten from Carbon to Cocoa, hence the delay for mac users.
On an 18 month release cycle for previous apps, Creative Pro writer estimates that Dec. 2008 through April 2009 is a possible delivery window:
