I love your vector work!

That being said, I'm not crazy about those beige lines, the oval and the heart. They don't seem to have any purpose. Not too crazy about the "thorns" on the bottle of perfume either. Good lord that's a gorgeous illustration though.

I agree about the lines and thorns, without them it would be easier on the eye. I want to look at the middle of the poster where nothing is going on. Do you think it is because there needs to be more of a hierarchy? Seems like the girl and the bottle have the same weight on the page to me. (?) What does it look like vertical?

Is there a reason for making the "R" in rose italic? Maybe re-think the fonts on the logo? I like the icon!

GREAT Illustration! It is so much easier to critique than it is to create- especially from nothing. Great job!

AWESOME illustration, as the others have said. Too bad her face is covered by the pointless vector lines... :) It's almost TOO real, you know? I thought it was a photo for a minute.

Agreed on removing the thorns.

I'd also say you need to spice up the DeathRoses font. It's not causing any emotion in me at the moment. Something rougher, more dangerous perhaps? Something to go with the product name.

Great vector work. Would love to see a separate post on how you created your blends!

I really like the female photograph/illustration. The perfume bottle is too flat, it's just floating in space. The rose branch or whatever you call it needs to be more realistic as well. The bottle just needs to be more involved with the female or even taken off completely. If you keep it, maybe try a black rose behind the bottle instead of a yellow one.

The yellow lines and shapes are just weird and look like an afterthought, really like you're just trying to add some balance and more yellow to continue the rose behind the bottle. On the background, I would try just a gradient background kind of like what you already have but without the rose overlay. So, maybe try something like a black to red gradient on the back. Make it look kind of satiny, like the illusion of a rose but without the actual rose there. You've got at least 3 other roses throughout--it's kind of overkill (pun not intended).

Logo isn't very strong. I'd work on it a bit more-- specifically the typography. Parfum logo should be moved down to one of the bottom corners.

I also might change the verbiage on the whole... perfume for women who "kill" thing if this is going in your portfolio. Just my 2c.
