After effects learn'n
tripdragon (416 pencils) | Sun, 2005-07-17 16:07:D After to much photoshoping and stuff I have always wanted to learn the motion graphics technique of "de-eraseing" a string of shapes. Like rainbow lines growingt and such. I always knew it was an animated mask, but I never really found a really simple fast way to do it.
I am in AE right now and the only way I can see is to constantly move points on a vector mask to hide part of it keyframe after keyframe. There has to be a faster way!
I wish it has Illustrator like vector erase tools. :( , is there a faster way ? I want to have my tablet flow like water but moveing point after point is NOt fun.
Or ya know of a better form that I can post this in ? besides abodes, that thinmg is a mess :P no offense

a site I used to like a lot (i've not had time to work with AE for a while, and I love so much :( ) was http://www.ayatoweb.com/index_e.html - some very nice tutorials, not always complete but near enough :)
