All Terrain PR
superjoney (8 pencils) | Tue, 2009-07-14 19:57I need some feedback on a logo im designing for a public relations company. The atv represents the companies ability to tackle any situation and cover all areas of PR. Im not sure if the typeface is appropriate. Any suggestions? thanks.

Best thing I've seen all day.
This is good for a simple ad on a newspaper classified than on a letterhead.
You may want to consider going back to the drawing board. Beku is right, this may work for an ad, but not a logo. I have trouble making the connection with the PR part of it. The ATV overwhelms the whole "logo" and comes off as an ATV sales/parts and accessories company. Also, If you come up with a solid, creative logo, you won't have the need to include "able to cover it all". Overall, somewhat creative attempt, but doesn't work.
Start over. Brainstorm. Do it in black and white vector first. Thats what I would do.
It should be more corporate. The name is ground breaking enough. The rest should assure the audience about their professionalism.
23. A photo does not make a logo.

It'll serve you well to read the 45 logo rules suggested in this article - and to keep to Rule #45 especially.

not only that (all of the above), it doesn't even look like an actual ATV. it looks more like a gokart. ATVs have big tires and some ground clearance.
thanks for the feedback, ill work on it a bit more.
