Andy Warhol

I am doing the book cover for my assignment. I need to use the look and feel of my selected Designer create a book cover which reflects his/her style. I chose Andy Warhol. He is not only an artist but also a designer. This is my first work, so that it has a lot of mistakes. Hope to receive your comments. Thanks a lot :D

Something Andy Warhol would
Something Andy Warhol would have screamed at you for is making his signature illegible. He was all about himself and standing out in a crowd, after all.
He was also about simplifying his message. Is your key message here that Warhol was an airhead? Please explain what you're shooting for (sorry, Andy).
What is "design so like" or "so like design" about?
The font you chose for the dollar signs (and I think one would be enough) is the right era, but not at all Warholesque. (Reminds me more of Robert Crumb of Keep on Truckin' fame). Warhol used very traditional typefaces, when he used them at all. He preferred his own handwriting, actually, or free-form copies of traditional faces. Study up on that.

You've heard of creative
You've heard of creative writing, I suppose. Well, creative reading comes in handy around here ;-)
He meant "ceases," of course. Normally, being a domineditrix, I'd be all over that, but I'm a really, really VAIN domineditrix, so when something like that is part of a compliment, I look the other way.
Into a mirror, with soft lighting and sappy music...

Obviously, you've never encountered an editor who's serious about her grammar, to the point of getting all whips-and-chains about it. The AP Style Book is my idea of a bodice-ripper. Now go outside and play. Mother needs to sharpen her red pencils.

I will try. Thanks a lot :D
However, I draw the dollar sign. I did not choose the font for dollar sign
I agree. I'd make it more
I agree. I'd make it more like Warhol's artwork. Don't get too cliche with your design though-- you're already choosing a pretty cliche artist to do an assignment on. Next time, to stand out, choose an obscure artist so that you have to learn, your classmates have to learn (assuming this will be a presentation), and then your TEACHER can learn something. If you can teach your professor something with your assignment, you've already won. Just my 2c.
I designed a Warhol-esque
I designed a Warhol-esque paper a while back. Try getting some pointers from that. It was definitely not a fully original work. I didn't create any of the objects on the page, but I did create the portrayal of Warhol that came through the design of the page. Try to portray Andy Warhol through this book cover. Study his work. Examine how he thought, acted, look at his quotes.

I had quotes and everything on the page after, but that upload was deleted or something.
Are you in High School still?
