Another one!

If you paid someone to design a logo for you, would you be happy with this? It's a little too simple yes?

It would depend what the brief was and what sort of audience the client caters to.

Focussing on the logo, though:
The drop-shape is very pear-like, probably because of the rounding off at the top.
The drop also doesn't feel very well positioned within the 'p' - it;s a little lopsided (veering to the left) and, because of the wide base of the top, feels a little low.
The kerning overall could do with some work, as could the spacing between the text and the TM.
The 'window cleaning services' text also feels a tad unbalanced as it doesn't visually line-up with anything.

Could post more about that client and their requirements, that way we can comment on whether this logo is suitable for them, and why (or why not)?

"too simple" is not necessarily a valid critique. one might say that the simpler a logo is while still communicating effectively, the better the logo is.

btw, is this your work or someone else's? i was a little confused by your description.

I like the lettering for pure, but the droplet needs some work as stated above by Alex.

WINDOW CLEANING SERVICES should be bolded up a bit, its kerning reduced and flush with the p's descender. Another bump up in pts might not be a bad idea either...

All issues with reverse water drop aside (like it doesn't communicate the cleaning of windows), I feel 'pure' is a light and airy concept. It should have plenty of air to breathe and be refreshing to look at while giving the viewer sense of functional simplicity. It should represent the state of initial creation, unmodified by afterthoughts or contemporary alterations. For instance, whatever font you choose, I'd stay away from the typefaces such as bold, italic, black or any other modifications.

In a word, 'Pure' should be pure. Try again?

Obviously, you'll have to include a tag line for this company which kind of ruins the simplicity the mark deserves. However, current treatment demands a tag line so small as to be invisible. Needs a complete rethink, in my opinion.

Without my sense of direction, I don't know where I'd be.

nice feedback,
i was working on this myself, but i thought it would be better to get someone else to help me out. So this isn't mine, but if i dont like how it turns out, ill have to remake it.
And I was going to mention that the waterdrop was off-centered, but if you look at the original Helvetica font, it's like this...
also, there are so many bad, corny window cleaning logos, i didn't want this to be just another logo with a squegee.
Pure Window Cleaning cleans windows for a lot of residential, but also small to mid-size commercial in San Diego. They also do pressure washing.

Any more ideas?

maybe rethink, or can this work?

note: the trustworthy designer is nowhere to be found, so i re-made this myself

Thanks!
