Another try at advertising

US Market?

This goes against everything I've seen in UK Land Rover advertising, but I can see how it might fit in in the US market where Hummers and Escalades become every more commonplace.

Over here it's all about adventure.

Again; good, fun, witty thinking.

More like...

Seems more like an ad for a Ford or Chevy pickup than a Land Rover. I think the way you've done the text is clever... it took me a little long to recognize that the right was intentionally cut off like that, I kept thinking shouldn't there be another "as" before "they come.", but now I get it.

I think maybe you could use some more consistency with your type. Just use one typeface, and keep it sans-serif like you have it mostly already. I would also tighten up the kerning between the large letters. Your cut off "S" is so close to the edge of the ad that I think given variations in the printing and cutting process, it might get cut off entirely.

campaigning consistency...

manny i really like this piece, however I don't see it fitting into any of the current campaigns LR is shooting towards. I dislike the type on teh bottom, and the byline *pure attitude* is irrelevant in all aspects. LR's marketshare in the United States is somewhat equivalent to overseas, consumers alraedy know that its tough, however LR looks to also brand their lines with style and sleeness so that their competitors don;t outsell them beasue they have a curve on the frontend body ofth quarter-panl so to speak yea know...The photo is great, just tone down teh ad a little and i think you are good to go. Bad As they come isall that is needed. Advertising, especially billboard has succumbed to the 1liner, unofrtunately. heh.

for my opinion, your idea &

for my opinion, your idea & concept is there...
but the alignment for those message is not that works for ur idea... maybe the "BAD AS" could place it at the bottom part and reflect it upside down? and the point size for the rest message could make it smaller and even using serif typeface such like times or georgia? i'm sorry if i have sending an unprofessional comment...
