AntiVirus for the Mac

I've always had some sort of antivirus running on my Macs, and I've seldom had an issue. Argue amongst yourselves, but I say "better safe than sorry."
NOTE: I'm DONE with anything Symantec (Norton) puts out and am ready to get something new.
Any suggestions?

Sophos and MacAfee are good...i agree that Symantec is a resource gobbling, horrible program.
