Anyone speak Italian?

If so, Please translate this for me:

"Please reply with your company's logo attached in either a vector, EPS or in a high-resolution Jpeg, at least 300 ppi."

Apparently, the word "logo" doesn't translate. They keep sending me pics of shoes. lol

Thanks in advance. :)

"Per favore rispondete inviando il logo (o marchio) della vostra società in formato vettoriale, eps o con una jpg alta risoluzione, almeno 300 ppi."

I've never found here (italy) a client with a logo with these requirements ;)
Good luck!

I've been contemplating moving to Rome over the last few months, because of better work opportunities. In doing some online research, looking for various companies I've been completely disappointed in seeing the state of web design in Italy. It's crude and elementary and resembles web design from '97.

Babelfish translated the word "logo" to the word "marchio", and then a translation of the word "marchio" to english showed it means "brand".

Hope that helps a little bit. I don't speak any Italian.
Check out Babelfish at AltaVista. They seem to have a good piece of software there for free translations. You might want to dim down the english a bit so it translates more fluently. I tried this:

Please email your company logo in vector format, EPS, or high resolution JPEG. At least 300 pixels per inch.

Which resulted in this:

Prego email il vostro marchio dell'azienda nella disposizione di vettore, in EPS, o in JPEG di alta risoluzione. Almeno 300 pixel per il pollice.

And translating that back to english gave me a pretty decent response:

I pray email your brand of the company in the disposition of carrier, EPS, or JPEG of high resolution. At least 300 pixel for the inch.

A quick translation of the Italian word "vettore" shows that it means "carrier" (??) so if you switch "vettore" in the Italian version for "vector" and put some programs that could make a vector image they might get the idea:

Voila...

Prego email il vostro marchio dell'azienda nella disposizione di vector (Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw), in EPS, o in JPEG di alta risoluzione. Almeno 300 pixel per il pollice.

Hope that helps...good luck!
