Would it help to have more of an entry barrier for newbies to get through, à la trolls posing riddles? Seems like all this spamming takes place within hours (even minutes) of a new account's being created.

I deleted manually like 20 and the autmoated deleted another 200 spams, but don't worry the spam filter gets smarter the more spams are filtered out. I don't want to set it too aggressive as it would generate false positives.
