That is correct. The whole city is lit up like Las Vegas, which is great beacuse it adds to the Xmas spirit.

Wow, in four years of my going to Bahrain for months at a time, I never knew about this... I'd always leave by about Dec 1 and not return until mid Feb. Of course, when you're working 18-30 hour days, you rarely have time to think about all the nice stuff that goes on around you.

We did manage to have lots of fun at Rally Town and Trader Vics! Usually in that order...
