Beijing 2008 Olympics logo joke

I know it's a silly joke, but since the first time I have seen this series I can't think of anything else, but this whenever I see the Beijing 2008 Olympics logo. Don't you feel the same way?

How the Beijing Olympics logo was created?

Beijing Olympics logo

Btw, besides this negative association, I love the logo. It's so "Beijing" in a good sense and so bold. I can almost smell that red goo they use for these stamps.

This is GOLD my man. They never should've gotten the Olympics what with their shoddy human AND animals rights issues.

Sick, funny and oh so true. Hmmm...maybe a subliminal hint at the outcome for the shooting competition?

Funny visuals.

Is the actual logo's "body" supposed to be some sort of asian character, though (meaning actual asian "text")?

This logo is like an old Chinese characters.
A long time ago, the Chinese caracteres were more rounded.
