Basicly a design app for OS X dashboard widgets. But if you know what widgets really are in secret is just tiny webpages.. ! What does this mean? Well if theory Dashcode is a webdesign app then... Which leads to the hope of a pro Apple web design app... Just need a few extras...

Now this is all just speculation but news worthy none the less.

Lets see here I was wanting to post something to fill the void.. When does a design becomes viewable? Like in, when are you ready to show it to people and take critques? Some post junk and some post gorgeous designs of absolute art even for just a website.. And on that note, the phrase "I design websites" and followed by that is "Oh is that all" just diggs at me.. :<

But how long does it take to post that ?? How long did someone work on it good or bad. When should you stop and show it to the world ??

There are no answers here just ponderings..

Lets try and get this fixed first.

I am a simi pro at the field now *sigh* when it comes to hard coding a site from code.
Ever since pages came out I clamored to get pages to export html and start using that as a basis to design faster.. alas it would not be..

Sooo a year later we now have iweb. basicly pages in a new skin. It outputs code that actually displays a page correctly now. Buuut at what price?

Now this is an app that has a LONG time coming as a new update. Suffice it to say I am only hopeful at this point that this app is a knock out css design app. We shall see.

This comes from just getting the new mighty mouse and finding that there is no option to swap the right click for a double click. It brought me back all the way to when I first tried computers and found after a day of double clciking it begins to give you hand an rss pain.

It makes me wonder why we still have double click in the first place or at least why there is no option to turn it off. I mean ya dont double click the web buttons, nor do you double click any buttons inside of applications, hell nothing really double clicks besides the stupid OS folder system like finder and Windows explorer.... But I do know windows does have an option to have one clcik, so why not osx ?

Just curious what others feel.

This is a very stupid feature but still neat. Use get info on a .psd file in OSX Tiger and look at the More info box. It will list every single Layer and layer name ! XD

Like I said useless but neat, also it shows me how bad my spelling is :P

Warning, below is a bug that has bugged me for two years :o

Don't get me wrong, I like to do work in design and get into the nitty gritty. But after you spend hours on hours trying to get something to work that you just cant find out why it wont and have to result to new code or a total new redesign it kina irkes you.

Always am I grabbing stuff from the web and saving it as either a webarchive or a bookmark,. Ha that adds up soooo fast and gets lost EVEN with spotlight. A great way to actually learn from these tutorials or lessons of design or what not is to print them :D

Aw but print is expenssive. True. But if you make booklets from them the cost goes WAY down, though it gets a little small ya can still read it ..

The trick to it is when you make a booklet out of the pdf, you then press print and then in the print dialog change the "Copies & Pages" menu to "paper Handling" and at the right select print Odd pages, once those have printed do the same but press even this time . ! Da TA ! Booklet :D
Now you yourself have to find out wich way the printer prints on. on idea is to write top bottom back top back bottom on a page and print some random crap on it to see which way it goes, so when you put the paper back in it prints poiaisjfodehnf&^%R%%^&F*&Tg8b jbdnsf
