Brand Citizenship: The Most Contagious 2012 ReportVootie (1598 pencils) | Fri, 2012-12-14 12:43
Launched in London in 2004, Contagious describes itself as "Operating at the intersection of marketing communications, new technology and consumer behaviour." It's perhaps best known for its flagship magazine, app and online resource but also produces related events and its annual Most Contagious report.
The 2012 iteration of this is now available and covers "Movements, Divine Data, Personalisation, Marketing as Service Design, Loyalty, Design, Amplified Live, Technology, Retail, Screen Grabs, Social Business, Image Sharing, Payments, Small But Perfectly Formed Companies, Augmented Media and Purpose."
If that seems like a lot, the unifying theme this year is "citizenship," as in brand citizenship. In fact, "Most Contagious 2012 features examples of brands acting as lifesavers, health and wellbeing networks, educators, ecologists, technology incubators and – in the case of the Red Bull Stratos mission from the edge of space – daredevil rocket scientists." The entire report is available below.
