It's birthday time for Universal Pictures, with May 8 to mark 100 years in the movies. The clip above shows the evolution of its animated logo over the years, culminating in the 2012 version created by Weta Digital. Movie fans will also want to visit the nicely-done universal100th.com site to wander down cinematic memory lane.
