Something for a film studio that I worked up, wanted to get some thoughts on it. If it doesn't work out I can always put it up on stock logos right....ha
cute enough idea i guess. but the execution pulls the rug out from under it visually due to the bullet being presented in perspective while the cylinder (reel) is flat
my Sunday Quotation! "You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the fuck do you think you're talking to?"
from the movie TAXI DRIVER...
my Question...
BULLET FILMS http://www.bulletfilms.nl makes clips for MTV...
Is it the same you are talking about?
my Quick-review:
sorry but the execution has unconsistencies (don't balanced thin lines) and horrid typography choices plus annoying logo proportion make this one a loser for a while. About you put it up on Stock Logos maybe you're a lucky guy if a movie rent shop get this one, not the real Bullet Films or other movie makers IMHO. It's closest from Horror Film's logo too.
Who needs a cilinder? Isn't it a BULLET FILM logo?
I wanna see come FILM, you are only half way..
Creativebits is a blog about creativity, design and Macs. We also have a critique section where you can post your work to get opinions and a forum to discuss any design related topics.

I agree fully.

Thanks for the input everybody, back to the drawing board. http://activeentertainment.com/index.php/bullet-films/
No - not back to the drawing board. Make this idea work. I can think of two other solutions to the same idea right off the top of my head. THINK MAN!
If not - put it on StockLogos.com.
I agree with you. This can work.
Btw, thanks for the promotion ;)
Glad to help. I'm considering putting some of my stuff up too. Just too busy to deal with it right now.
Yea, I didn't mean I was going to scrap it, but Im going to add elements. I will make it work, I like it to much. Thanks
i think the ONLY way to make this work (with the ambiguity of the reel/cylinder) is to present the rim and primer MUCH larger in the filed of view.
