Business card design

Business card design

Hi guys,
this is first business card design of the group of independent (web)designers. It is really the first idea, I know there is a lot of details to improve. I'm going to redo the logo (I need to find better font to fit my idea, I need the font that has the letters almost as wide as high). Please tell me what do you thing about the layout and color combination. I tried to emphasize the name Prague design and put the rest to the background. We want to present ourselves more like designers - something like "Yes, we can do webdesign for you, but you will get something extra, not like the other sites".
Business card is only part of design we need to do, but it is one of the most important. Based on this we are going to design our website (I will post it later ;)

I need it to be PERFECT, so all your comment are welcomed (especially the negative ones:)

PS: sorry for mistakes, Englis is not my first language

Love it!

Kind of seventies wallpaper illustration, kind of retro colors. Very cool. The type is great too. I'm too small to criticize this one. :) I hope others can be more helpful and hope to see more items. I would love to see how you get this design accross other elements.

Love the style of artwork, it would be good to see whats going to be on the other side of the cards,

i'd love to be able to give you some negative feedback as i find it more helpful than some guy saying "great job" lol, ;) but i dont see anything that immediatly jumps out at me asking for some attention to be changed.

Nice work man!

Thank you all for your comments. I'm working now on the othes pieces of corporate identity and you really encouraged me in my work. I will post when I finish it, but I want to take some time for it - as I've already said - I want it to be the best ;)

I love the design but if there was one thing I could change it would be those lil lines that are going around the circles... it looks like a selection in Photoshop but it's kind of distracting... Other wise I love it...

Hope that helps.

I wanted to say the same thing. They really really bug me as well.

I agree with the last two posts. Those marching ants are distracting.

Otherwise you would have had some nice feedback. Who is playing god here?

Hey Jason. I've replied to you in another thread as well. We didn't delete your comments for sure. If you register your comments appear instantly, otherwise it gets manually checked first. I deleted only three Anonymous comments in the last few days. All three were just one or two words. Either irrelevant or just swearing. I'm sure they were not your comments. I'm not sure what happened. I hope we can find out.

Web Design or Webdesign? How about separators other than commas? I prefer the turquoise and find the marching ants odd too. You don't need a mailing address? Aren't logo design and corporate ID similar enough that you could lose one?

I've just replied the grayware's comment and my answer disappeared (or didn't appear at all)

Do you mind if I ask what kind of font did you use for the Prague name, thanks

I like it but think it would look better portrait with the band of type accross the bottom. You'd have to make the the type in the black band a little smaller and just shift the rest (contact details) to the reverse. Check it out

Looks good
