Can anyone help - quark/pdfx problem
nina (30 points) | Mon, 2009-06-01 10:49I have some files in quark which have imported images in PDFX format (they are pages of another already printed file). They look fine but the problem is that when I go to export them as PDFX although the PDFX exported it brings up an error. When I preflight them i get the following error: PDFX output/intent missing - on some pages but not all.
I ended up using the PDFX format because we had problems with eps and tif format quality.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks very much in advance for any help.

What version of Quark are you working in? I had issues with 7 and PDFs.

Did you manage to solve them? :)
Yes. It was a bug that was repaired by Quark. Have you gone onto Quark's site or contacted them regarding this issue? Sometimes it's a developer error.

I will try to speak to someone there. I'll post when I find a solution in case anyone else has a similar problem.
Why not just send the pdf x pages as a separate document. Not sure why you'd want to place them back into a quark file?
