Can I save a .mov as a streaming movie on a regualr hosting
pompo (998 pencils) | Tue, 2004-11-30 04:11A client asked me to do some streaming movies
for his site.
Can I export regular Quicktime movies as streaming movies and have them
streamed without an OSX streaming server? (just on any server)
Thanks
Pompo

If the enduser has quicktime, any .mov or .mpeg should be streamed in the browser automatically, no?
Otherwise, I found this site.
yeah..you are correct...I have to export the movie to "self contained" and "hinted"
afterwards,,,
ThankZ!

Keep in mind that "hinted" movies are NOT true streaming movies. For that, you need QT Streaming Server.
