I'd recommend buying a mac so you can have it all. Get Parallels, Bootcamp (and one other emulator whose name escapes me) and you can install OS X and XP (I think Vista too) on one machine.

hell yes...just save a couple extra bucks and get the real thing.
It's worth it. And yes, there are differences in the real working world.
