Can't follow more people on Twitter...

I hit the 2000 followers limit on twitter with my aotw account. I find it strange that I can't reply to people twittering me because of this restriction. I understand the motive, but I don't think it's the most efficient way to solve the issue. I should be able to reply to people writing me regardless of the status whether I follow them or not... End of rant!

Just use the @NAME in the input box. The only restriction I know of is the Direct Message limit, which requires them to be following you, and you them (I believe).
