Car poster and illustration
mokenke (315 points) | Thu, 2006-11-02 18:17Client wanted a car that looks hand drawn but realistic prototype. I started this on paper with pencils and processed it with photoshop. I added the environment after. Client seemed happy.

but I agree with nanda...I don't like the background. The tread marks are a great touch.

Most of you don't like the background. None of you has said what you would do differently. What would be a good solution for the background? Critiques are supposed to be useful.

A sunset drawn backgroud background would be good.

It is an offroad vehicle. Do you really think it is a good idea to place it in the ocean or focus on the sunset? I don't.

i like the sunset idea, (and dont like the current bg). If you could make a sunset that faded up to dark, you could use the logo that you have in the black now. That might cause a problem with the lighting in your illustration though, so maybe if you could do it so the sunset apears to come from behind the viewer, that could be cool.
