This is a logo i did for package design class. The objective was to pick a region, of 5 provided, and then a type of product from another list of 5, put the two together and design a product based off of this. I chose Caribbean coffee and came up with he name , Isla Mona, a small island right below Puerto Rico. Thought it had a nice ring to it.

the type is good with coffee color... its all good
but................
only one problem i see in it, the first time I saw this logo I read it something releated to "islam" (as muslim) even thou its not big concern until it is a local brand but if someday they'll plan to go ahead in international market... then its confusing... and who knows if tomorrow there'll be another crusade they might burn this cafe...
