Stats show similar traffic. 26K hits last 7 days vs 31K hits the week before. Maybe it feels like that because there were no new blog posts for 3 days. On other days there was at least one every day and sometimes up to three new ones. I was busy bugfixing adsoftheworld.com but it seems 95% ok now.
What are you guys up to?
Hits or page views? Hits count all images called for and stuff like that, which means the actual number of people viewing the site is way down from that. If you're getting that many people viewing a week, wow, go get yourself a bmw!:)

You are right. I should've said page loads. We've got about 3.2K unique visitors daily in average and 4.6K page loads. So, it's not hits. I don't know how many hits it would be, but certainly much much more. The average bandwidth is about 1GB a day. That's quite a lot I think, but it's because of the Critique, which has many images.
Here are the stats for this year. Note that September isn't over yet. Also the summer months should be down, also August was quite high for some reason.

Thats impressive Ivan, now if you could get a nickle from every viewer.. :)

I get something much more valuable than money. Knowledge and company. :)
Your unique visitors and page loads may be artificially high (as are mine, and anyone else with a blog) because you offer RSS feeds. A new hit every hour from everyone who subscribes to any one of your RSS feeds can boost the count.
By the way, for some reason, I had a HUGE increase in traffic in late August and all this month. I have been checking my SPAM checker for the site and noticed quite a bit of activity from online casino spam bots trying to leave comment spam. This could also be the reason for abnormally high unique visitors.

RSS doesn't have a page counter on cb, but as you said, casino and poker spammers are doing quite a bit of traffic. At one point a few month ago they hit several hundred times a day. Also, google and other crawlers may hit a certain site dozen times a day.
