I think this is really great.
Simple, yet clever.
I would make the ".com" a little bigger.
And as I look at it, I'm wondering how it might look with a slighter thicker font?
I like it this way too though.

i think you need to work on kerning. it's very very loose and not consistent. look at the relationships between "c" and the chair or r & s (good), then look at the others and you'll see a difference. it's particularly big between the "e" and .com.
you may need to darken the beige lettering so it doesn't fade into the background on you. especially w/.com. and your rule is almost indiscernable. i would leave that out completely.
do you have other type studies? i agree that it's a little light overall.
The beige is too light. It reads "hairsale." And is that a line under the whole thing? Not needed. I agree about the kerning and enlarging the ".com" part. It is indeed a clever idea.

I really think the idea is very clever, and working very well, but I think the design needs work.
I don't think the type is working very well. I think you should use something closer to the chair, by that I mean a font that integrates better with the font.
i know color is not important at this stage, but I really don't think they are working very well. I would use a color that reminds me more of furiture.
Overall I think that the hardest part is done that is the idea, just work a little more on the design.
Great work!

The logo seems way too light, in color as well as font weight, to really represent a chair reseller/store. Can you use a stronger font or are the chairs more italian or european in design? If so then a lighter font might work.
