Chazaq

This is a logo developed for a trucking company. Chazaq (say kah-zak) is Hebrew for "be strong" or "strength".

First, please don't use Papyrus for your typeface. It is too trendy and way overused. Is the H a symbol and if so what kind of symbol and how does it translate? I think Transport Services Ltd could fit very nicely underneath between the C and the Q in a different font, maybe using all lowercase or all uppercase.

The H is the Chinese symbol for strength.

To me when the name of the company is inspired or influenced by a specific culture it seems a bit odd to incorporate symbolism from another culture. Perhaps you could signify strength with the typeface or find another way to visually convey such an idea.

I agree with the above posts. Papyrus is far too trendy and I would also like to see a much more 'strong' typeface. You can show the strength of the trucking company in other ways than to throw in a symbol. Also, I always think that using two different typefaces is a good idea, one for the actual logo and another, perhaps more generic, for the explanation (i.e. Transport Services, ltd.) That breaks them up a little bit and it makes it more interesting. At least in my eyes.

For a minute there I thought it was a logo for a restaurant... One of those with a cultural fusion trend. For a name that implies "strength" It's weak, it's definitely going to get lost in traffic! I'd definitely rethink this idea.

will the target demo understand the Chinese character? it might work if the company's target demo was something like Chinese people in Israel.

Would probably be better 'explained' to the reader with a 'strong', reliable font - Civic, Futura, Impact, Penyae, Quartzite, Stone Sans [for example].

Maybe italicised to indicate movement.
