Clipping paths..

Hi all
I have been using clipping paths for years - no problem. I have suddenly have an issue with a path that has a path inside eg: a mug on its side with the inside of the handle being cut out. I am sure there is something I am missing.
I am working on CS4, saved as tif (also tried psd and eps too). It imports into InDesign fine and then in the clipping path panel I choose photoshop path. It does the outside lovely but not the inner.
It is one path in photoshop.
Any ideas?

Oh man - I've had that problem before. I can't positively remember the answer, but it's probably one of two things...

1) The inside path direction is backwards. Try drawing it in the opposite direction.

2) Before you select "Make clipping path" - make sure both the inside and outside paths are active.

If the path shows up in photoshop select the path and alter this panel at the top of the screen while both paths are selected as shown.

I think that will work

If it's not that, I haven't got a clue.

Hope that helped.
