This one was for a club flyer, I was to do the artwork on it, depicting one of the resident DJs and his hordes of adoring fans =)I had the illustration done, came up with the concept and was told the only thing I have to keep in mind was that I had to leave room for the copy ( club date, address and so on. I have the final around here somewhere I'll have to find it and scan it in. But this was my part, and it was all done in Illustartor.

In the version that was printed, there was about 50% more black space to the right, reserved for all the info. On the other side were the details about the event, logos, so and and so forth.

What are the dimensions of this flyer? Based on your (revised) description of the layout, it looks more like a banner than a flyer. Is that so?

In fact is was a an unusual banner size of about 15" by 5". I've seen some with similar dimensions before, these were to be passed out after an event at the club.
You can say there were more like banners than flyers :)
