Confused Fact
ChrisKalis (22 pencils) | Sat, 2009-04-11 09:37Certain things are mixed up so much that people get confused and regard the devil their savior. We often need to step out of the situation to look at a bigger picture, that is why I've done up this self initiated work.
I thought of posting it up and learn from others what I do not see... any comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

DRUG DEALER - DREAM MAKER
nice
Nice, although to me the Drug Dealer really stood out, had a hard time seeing the dream maker...other than that, very nice work

It's a piece that should challenge the viewer, and I think it was done perfectly. Good job.
'I am a patient boy, I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait'
Interesting choice of words. I like it a lot. It would make a great print.
It is difficult for me to see dream maker too, perhaps up the contrast on dream maker and make it darker?
Hey guys, thanks for all the comments.
1) I had youngsters in mind for this therefore the striking colors.
2) It's supposed to challenge the viewers to spot the confusion (the tagline below).
3) I was worried that it's too confusing to see Dream Maker initially as well. Interesting thing is some people actually saw Dream Maker other than Drug Dealer
4) I've noticed from the printed copy and on screen, I can somehow see one of the word pretty clearly.
Nevertheless, I appreciate your time commenting. As I'm more of a packaging designer therefore no chance for me to do work like this. Have been afraid to share my ideas but you guys really have encouraged me. Thanks! :)

There's a tag line?
Just kidding. Honestly, I didn't see it until about the fifth look-see. You might want to make it larger. Or maybe I just need bigger glasses :-)

Ya, I thought it was too small too. It's like I need to "point it out" in order to understand. I'm glad such work (without any commercial purposes) has generated great professional advices from everyone here. Thanks.
