I'm once again optimistic. I've never seen such a mixture of race, age groups, creed, come together to welcome-in a president elect. It restores my faith in the system and in the future of our nation.

The new 'ETSA' electronic visa waiver programme has potentially just buggered my return to Orlando in December and trip to Miami in March.
As from next year you need to fill out the forms online and mine got rejected meaning I have just had to fork out $130 for a police background check and another $135 for a visa I may or may not get after spending 3 hours at the US Embassy in London.

I wasn't sure if I'd offend anyone lasat week by posting something about Obama's LANDSLIDE :-) I was dancing on air all week! And not just Obama, but the House & Senate, too (with more victories yet to be recounted -- still keeping my fingers crossed for Al Franken et al.) It was like a bloodless coup.

The nightmare is almost over, that's how I feel. Glad to know I'm among like-minded folk, just as I suspected. :-)

The privilege is now turn over to President Obama being the 44th president of the America. Well, former President Bush will now have the retirement package to enjoy his new life as a retired president. Retirement packages are good enough for some people to never have to worry about payday loans, or anything else ever again. George Bush will be getting a $191,000 a year pension for life, and he has two enormous homes in Texas where he will retire. It seems he won't need payday loans ever again.
