Logo ideas for a construction company...creative critisms very much welcome, I'm having a braindrizzle here.
I'm not really into the web 2.0 design but I just put it there for variety.
BTW, the company color is red yellow and blue and the bottom logo was designed so that the logo itself can be separate from the typeface for better logo recognition.

Ehm, I would say: Keep it simple! A logo should be a shape in it's mere basic. Whilst you have a house in a really simple shape repeating it over and over again isn't going to keep it clear and simple. Also, it doesn't look like a C so don't replace a C with that.
First, I'd say, it's messy and rusty. Colours don't compliment eachother and apart from the house there's nothing appealing in it. It would have worked 20 years ago for sure, but now? Sorry...
Why use a house as logo? How do you think people are going to remember it? So many building companies have a house as logo... yours won't stand out, unless it's really really good looking... but it isn't.
Second. Don't even think about taking a normal road sign and make it your logo...
Third, it's not working. The house doesn't look like a C. This has the most potentional though. Try to make a concept with the house and Construction Chiefs Inc in normal writing next to it.
Don't be so desperate to make something great. Keep it simple.

OK, thanks, I get what you mean, the first two are crap...but the 3rd as you say has the most potential, there's nothing i can do with the colors though, as they are the corporate colors.
