Construction Company Logo

Construction Company Logo

This logo is for a construction company called My Home Builder. They cater to real estate professionals, families, investors, and do it yourselfers in need of home repair, remodeling, and construction. The logo will always change in color to fit any particular background. Thanks for your input...

I like the top right in that it's a bit more abstract than the others, but the bottom two seem more balanced. However the house image is kind of obvious for such a company. Maybe you could experiment with different ways to express home building.

bottom right is the strongest to me so far. I do not think you need campany name in this logo. I also have to agree with olliesan1 it is lack the since of what they do. when I first looked at it with not explaination i thought of a home loan or insurance company. I did not get to home repair till I read company name and the description. I really like the play with the laters in the last 3.

I like how you have incorporated the door in the bottom left, but for some reason it looks weird...and will def. get lost when scaled down. I have an issue with the roof coming off the "M" because of the angle...maybe try it having the roof be the same angle as the "M"....just a suggestion.

it's passé, dated, and not hitting the right market.
it looks like a realtors logo, not a builders/renovators/investors logo. it doesn't convey the idea of playing the property ladder and making a nicer, bigger, better home. simple one hip-roofed with maybe a little gable on the side convey the idea of "post world war II homes" go find homes built in that era, and they're all about the size and proportion of the image.

I think you should either try scaffolding like suggested, or try to find a more dynamic and lively shape. Look at custom design homes, they still look like homes even when outlined, but they have new shapes and a completely different feel.

I say alot of this with both design and construction in mind. (i do afterall work in the architectural field hehe)

Hope this helps, keep us posted.

I like the strong positive - negative initials you created but find the logo a bit out of balance with the roof angle. Consistency is important so keep the thickness of the letters uniform. [Right now the weight of the M is all over the place and too narrow in comparison to the other letters]

I agree this has a real estate feel more than construction. You can also explore integrating other building related elements in replacement of the roof. Here's one option.

I do like the lower 2 designs if I had to pick from these only but I agree with Passe' and NRG. A varity of examples in different styles somewhat alike seems to be the best bet. Sketch out a few, throw them around and see what more you can squeeze out of this.
Nice work!

Hi,

Colors used to create a logo for a construction company should be formal. These colors should be dull and sober. Bright colors should not be used because they give an unprofessional image to the logo and the company...

Hi,

The fonts used to design a logo for a construction company are formal, not italicized or stylish. The font should be simple and have a corporate approach such as a bold serif font.
