Content Management programs

Does anyone know of a good content mangement program? Much like Mambo and Xoops? I would like one that would be easy to change layout etc.

Thanks,

cb runs on Drupal. You can try the civicspace distribution for easy installation. Apparently it's becoming the most popular CMS. And, with version 4.7 and especially 4.8 is certainly will be THE most popular.

I've used text pattern (textpattern.com/) for a few sites recently. It's nice set-up and use, and great for collaborative sites (ie, ones with editors, designers, copywriters, etc).

(the documentation can be patchy, but it's getting very usable very quickly.)

I've been using Drupal recently for some content managed sites and it is very well put together and controllable to a point. Be aware though, that it is only really good at putting together either community sites like CB or news/blog sites.

If you want a straight forward CMS you should probably look at Mambo which I have played around with and seems very customisable.

Also don't discount Wordpress. I still ove it even though it doesn't have the features of Drupal and it makes the best HTML of all the blogging tools I've tried.

Just remember if your using it for comercial work, share the love and donate a portion of your fee to support the development of future versions and updates.
