Andrew,
I get .cdr files from China quite often and I'm able to open them with Illustrator CS2, then do a "save as".
As a side note, I also get multi-page manuals as .cdr files. When I 1st opened one all I saw was a manual cover and figured they were going to upload the rest of the manual to the FTP site. As it turns out, each page of the manual was on its own layer.
As far as the content is concerned, lets just say after last few years, I've become quite fluent in Chinglish.
I'll e-mail you also,
Gene
Gene,
I have the same issue, however, your suggestion to use Illustrator does not seem to work. I have Illustrator 11.0
Any other suggestions that may help?
thanks much
