Cool article on the highway sign font

I suppose it's something that most of us don't think about, but highway signs are an important example of graphic design. Every aspect seems very well thought out. The color, a teal-ish green, may not be the most appealing, but most other colors would be either distracting or wouldn't stand out enough. It's a very interesting article, in my opinion.
