Corel Draw 12 specific tutorial needed plz

Hi there

I am just starting out in glass etching and have been told the best programme to use is Corel Draw as it is self explanitory to use. Well I seem to disagree as I can only draw circles with it.
Please could someone point me in the right direction on where I could find a tutorial from in which would help me design a stencil and how I get the writing around the outside of the circle to mirror image. I am able to write around the circle but on the bottom it is backwards and I need to turn it around.

I would be very grateful for anyones knowledge on this.
