I have a couple upcoming projects that might benefit from some of the abilities of Corel Painter. I've been looking around for a "deal" on it, as it would be hard to justify the full retail cost for what might only be a couple projects.

So my question is about these $40 US +/- "factory sealed"/CD-only "OEM" deals I keep seeing on ebay. Anyone know about the legitimacy of these? Are they for real, or a "gray market" kind of thing? I'm guessing this is one of those kind of, "if it's too good to be true, then it probably is" things. Thing is, they've been doing it for a while, and you'd think if it was of questionable legality, Corel would be more active in putting the stop to it?

I missed out on the last promo where they offered the upgrade price for Photoshop users...
