Corporate Identity is generally a term used to describe a company's logo, letterhead, business cards, envelopes, fax sheets, signage, and other branded items.

I **think** what you're talking about is a "style guide" which tells employees and outside vendors (like ad agencies, etc.) HOW the identity may be used, such as what colors may be used in ads, how big the logo must be in the ads, what a typical brochure or ad might look like, what fonts may be used, etc.
