Couple InDesign Qs
zwei (108 points) | Wed, 2005-03-02 19:44There are a couple things in InDesign that I'm wondering if I'm missing anything. ...aka, I actually like the Quark way better
1. When you resize a document, is there a way to get it to resize from the top left corner instead of the center of the document?
2. When moving objects in quark and visually aligning with the rulers Quark will put the edge of an object directly at say .375 without a guide. If you just visually align things in InDesign it will look like you have it on the line, but once you zoom in you realize it's really at like .3767. Is there a key you can hold down to kind of snap to these common numbers? Kinda like holding Shift down when dragging a guide in photoshop?

numebr 1 is a good question... was wandering about that too...
what you can do with guide lines is zoom in first and then place it.. should be accurate then... but don't think that's the solution you're after :/
