CPDL t-shirt
creativemurf (160 pencils) | Fri, 2007-02-23 16:08I have limited experience in the screen printing process. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or see any problems with the design considering that it will be screen printed.
Target demographic is 10 - 17 years old boys and girls.
Thanks in advance for any responses good or bad.
I uploaded the changed design as an attachment.

Its been a while since I did screen printing, but the gaps you have in each letter look like they may fill in, especially the smaller "central penn diving league" make those the same a 2007 and you should be ok - at least a few milimetres minimum.
Sidesey,
Thanks that's helpful. I will open up the gaps some.
It all depends on the size really. If you print the logo in big even small detail can come out nicely.
Regarding the design. I think you can get rid of the star on the letter E on the right. It's a bit too much I think. Also, I think a simpler typeface that has no cuts will work better here. The logo itself is complicated enough. Also I can see you aligned the two rows of letters. But optically the top row looks as if it was extending to the left. You may want to adjust that a bit.
Classic and very appropriate.
Needs a little tidy up with alignment though.

Agree with Ivan...the star makes the design not-symmetrical, and there's no need for that. The type face can be simplified.
And I'd get rid of the lines of the star that are getting into the way of the 'p' and 'n' in 'championship'
