JimD (2509 points) | Wed, 2007-04-25 18:24Most designers who’ve been in the business for any amount of time usually have at least a small library of Communication Arts and Print magazines, a drawer filled with cool direct mail pieces and brochures, sketchbooks and other nifty ideas that they use for inspiration. The problem is organizing and finding what you want once you have it.

I'm officially old school. and i doubt i'll ever use a program for it.
a) i'm sadly still a pc user, can't afford a mac these days
b) good old folders is way easier for me. i have them labeled the way i need them and my self feed scanner makes it 100 times easier.
I'll just batch scan images all at once and then sort them in a basic image viewing program, but that just moves them into the appropriate folders.
old school it is for me! could be worse, could be like when i used to have folders and folders in my file cabinet of images and articles ripped out of magazines! hahaha..
good post none the less.
