Creating an "E-Invite"

I just got a request from a client to do an "e-invite"

That is he wants to do an email "blast" to all the people in his office and has asked us to do something "eye catching and attention grabbing." Yeah. Ok.

So do I do a 800x600px jpg and send that so that he can email it?

Or am I looking at doing a HTML with images and text email?

Is this possible?

How can I do this?

thanks.

You can do both. Attachment is more email client proof. Everybody will be able to open it. But it's not as effective as an html email. The disadvantage of html email is that it is not compatible with all email clients.
